Terms of Service for Dr. Me
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dr. Me mobile application on iOS and Android (the "App"), operated by David Bosze (Dvain Solutions). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
Dr. Me is an educational tool that helps users understand medical-report terminology in plain language. Dr. Me does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, or professional medical advice.
2. Medical Disclaimer
- Content is informational and educational only.
- Do not use the App as a substitute for licensed medical professionals.
- Seek professional medical advice for diagnosis and treatment decisions.
- For emergencies, contact emergency services immediately.
3. Eligibility and Acceptable Use
- You must use the App lawfully and only with content you are authorized to submit.
- You must not misuse, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or bypass security controls.
- You must not use the App for unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or older if required by local law).
4. User Content
You may submit text, images, and documents for analysis ("User Content"). You retain rights to your User Content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process User Content solely to operate and provide the App’s features.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
- Some features may require a paid subscription.
- Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not directly by us.
- Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled in your store account settings.
- Refunds are governed by store policies unless local law requires otherwise.
6. Third-Party Services
Dr. Me relies on third-party services including OpenAI, Cloudflare, and RevenueCat to deliver core functionality. Their services are subject to their own terms and policies.
7. Privacy
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy: Privacy Policy for Dr. Me.
8. Intellectual Property
The App and related content (excluding your User Content) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
9. Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of amounts paid by you in the prior 12 months or USD 50.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if misuse creates legal or security risk. You may stop using the App at any time.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your primary operating jurisdiction, unless local consumer law requires otherwise.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically and will update the "Last updated" date accordingly.
